Ho invece inserito qui l'unica pubblicazione in lingua italiana (tradotta dall'inglese): nella nostra lingua, infatti, oltre al libro in bibliografia, ben poco d'altro è stato scritto! Merita senz'altro una citazione l'edizione italiana di The Way to Play (tradotto con i titoli Giochi da Tutto il Mondo, 1976, e poi Il Grande Libro dei Giochi, 1997), un libro notevole che spazia anche sulle varianti cinesi, e il piccolo Dizionario dei Giochi. Carte e Tasselli [Bonomolo] il quale, benchè non vi dedichi molto spazio, è l'unico vero apporto totalmente italiano. Le pagine della rivista Pergioco, che hanno presentato il domino su due numeri, sono invece una breve raccolta derivata da testi secondari francesi (o presunti italiani: si veda alle note in Laun, nella sezione in lingua francese).
